Good point, never thoug...Well, what do you expect. Good point, never thought of it like that, it's a good description of how people behave in most things, really. <BR/>If you look at other things too like emergency procedures quite a lot of them are, or at least were, somewhat similar in that the instructions are generally that every normal person is useless in that situation and should either just run(er, walk briskly) the other way or sit and wait for someone who might have a clue. Which is why 'everyday' heroes are regarded as such - they actually help their fellow man rather than the "every man for himself" or "sit and wait while I call 999" approach, which can be the single worst thing to do - see 9/11 WTC evacuation, as well as the 1993 one.Carlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05805753341075482960noreply@blogger.com
